Federal, State, & Local Government Institutions

Re:discovery Software, Inc. (RSI) is on the General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedules contract (#GS-35F-0241N). Federal, state and local government agencies are eligible to purchase RSI's products and services hassle-free off of this contract at a discounted rate from our standard commercial pricing. RSI's contract with GSA includes the following categories of products and services (referred to as Special Item Numbers, or SINs).

Software Licenses

Proficio modules and user licenses are available under SIN 132-33. A Re:discovery Software sales representative can assist you in your consideration of the number of users and which modules best meet your needs.

Software Maintenance

RSI supplies annual software maintenance plans for all licensed software products under SIN 132-34. The maintenance fee is determined by the number of Proficio software modules installed, the number of concurrent users, and any customizations.

Information Technology/Professional Services

The following services are offered under SIN 132-51. Purchase of these services requires a Statement of Work agreed to by the customer and the vendor. A sales representative can assist you in defining the statement of work.

Data Conversion Services

Automated conversion of the customer's data files from existing database structure to Re:discovery Proficio's SQL Server 2005 database structure. RSI's software engineers have extensive experience in converting from a wide variety of database formats ($90.00 per hour; Use Product# REDDC when ordering).

Directory Customization Services

Available for custom configuration of standard Re:discovery Proficio object screens ($90.00 per hour, minimum of 16 hours required; use Product# REDCUST when ordering).

Custom Programming Services

This service Provides custom programming in order to meet any non-supported functional system requirements ($90.00 per hour; use Product# REDPROG when ordering).

Training Courses

The following training courses are offered by Re:discovery Software under SIN 132-50:

Training Course #1: Using Re:discovery Proficio

Designed for Re:discovery Proficio end users, the course applies to any one of the core Re:discovery Proficio Modules (i.e., Collections Management, Archives, Slide Library, Archaeology) and provides instruction on the user interface, standard software features and basic user functions such as adding new records, viewing data, modifying data, database searches and simple reports. Advanced database management features and functions is also covered.

• Length: 1 day (8 hours)
• Prerequisites: Basic understanding and familiarity with Windows interface
• Minimum participants: 1 student at contractor site
• Maximum participants: No maximum; if more than one student, training will be held at Government site and Government is responsible for providing IT equipment
• Location: at Government site
• Class Schedules: Per customer request
• Price: $829 per class

Training Course #2: Using Re:discovery Proficio with Multiple Modules

Designed for Re:discovery Proficio end users, the course applies to using Re:discovery Proficio with more than one type of module. It provides module-specific training for customers who purchase more than one of the four core Re:discovery Proficio modules.

• Length: 1 day (8 hours)
• Prerequisites: Basic understanding and familiarity with Windows interface
• Minimum participants: 1 student at contractor site
• Maximum participants: No maximum; if more than one student, training will be held at Government site and Government is responsible for providing IT equipment
• Location: at Government site
• Class Schedules: Per customer request
• Price: $829 per class

Training Course #3: Re:discovery System Administrator Training

Includes instruction for the System Administrator on utilities, file structures, backup and restore, setup and customization.

• Length: 1/2 day (4 hours)
• Prerequisites: Introduction to Re:discovery and Advanced Re:discovery
• Minimum participants: 1 student at contractor site
• Maximum participants: No maximum; however, if more than one student, training will be held at Government site and Government is responsible for providing IT equipment.
• Location: Government site
• Class Schedules: per customer request
• Price: $414 per class

Training Course #4: Re:discovery Proficio Report Designer

This class teaches Visual FoxPro's Report Designer for the creation of reports and forms for use in Re:discovery Proficio.

• Length: 1/2 day (4 hours)
• Prerequisites: Introduction to Re:discovery and Advanced Re:discovery
• Minimum participants: 1 student at contractor site
• Maximum participants: No maximum; however, if more than one student, training will be held at Government site and Government is responsible for providing IT equipment.

Federal Government Agencies

Order through the Web: Register on the GSA Advantage website and place your order via the Web with a Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express credit card number.

Federal, State, and Local Agencies

Submit a Written Purchase Order:
All Purchase Orders need to reference the GSA Contract # (GS-35F-0241N) under which the order is placed. In addition, the appropriate SINs (Special Item Numbers) must be indicated. For work to be performed under SIN 132-51, a written Statement of Work (approved by RSI) is required.  Once you receive the product or service, RSI will send the ordering agency an invoice. For your convenience, we accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover cards.
